Biden: Come Tuesday, Obama’s Critics Will Be Calling Him Commander-In-Chief
EmailABC News’ Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., blew into the Buckeye State Friday afternoon, four days before Election Day, blasting Republican attacks against Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and declaring that come Tuesday, Obama’s critics will be calling him the next commander-in-chief.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we need to move past the politics of division and attack," the Democratic vice-presidential nominee told a crowd of 2000 in Kettering. "Over the past week, Republicans have gone way over the top in my view, calling Barack Obama every name in the book, and it probably will get worse in the next three and a half to four days."
"Well look, if you look at who he is, what he’s done, and what he plans to do for this country, if you work for us in the closing days and choose hope over fear," Biden urged supporters, "after next Tuesday, the very critics he has now and the rest of America will be calling him something else – they will be calling him the 44th president of the United States of America, our commander in chief Barack Obama!"
As is his standard approach on the stump, the Delaware lawmaker linked Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., to President Bush, encouraging voters that in four days from now they can change the course of the nation’s future.
"An opportunity missed is not the same as an opportunity lost," Biden cautioned today in this crucial battleground state. "Not yet. Not if we recognize the urgency of the moment. Not if we have the courage to reject the course that has clearly failed. Not if we have the will to embrace the most enduring of all Americans beliefs – which is, we do not have to accept things as they are, we can change them and define our own destiny! And we will change them!"
Biden has been ripping McCain’s agent of change "costume" for the past week and today, the Delaware lawmaker didn’t miss his opportunity at this holiday rally.
"I know it’s Halloween," the six-term senator said, "but John McCain dressed as an agent of change is a costume that just does not fit."

Experts in security clearances, including a retired Army intelligence officer, have publicly stated that Barack Obama would have no problem obtaining sufficient security clearance to work for either the Secret Service or the FBI. None of the allegations against him has ever been substantial enough to be a disqualifying factor.

I love you, Joe the Biden, and would have voted for you without a doubt, but your running-mate (whichever way you want to call it) is just too dangerous to be trusted. This is why – we cannot afford Class Struggle in the next 4 years and McCain is an adequate care-taker and He is No Bush:

Socialism, a precursor of Communism, has never had a chance being practiced in the US. Few really know what socialism is, but what 0bama wants to do IS socialism.
0bama is masterfully adopting the classic class divide of Karl Marx, playing one class – the 95% of the poor – against another class – the rich, the 5% to achieve his ambition.
It is not progressive taxation that makes 0bama a socialist.

I feel sorry for all of those Obama/Biden fans who voted on the idea they would get a tax break, if they made less than $250,000. Today Bill Richardson used a figure of $125,000 which is more in line with all definitions of middle class. I voted for Bill….I never voted for Bush, either of them…..the fervent supporters of Hussein are not looking at the total picture…who is pulling his strings….just to be clear…I did a write-in vote for Hillary.
It appears that once again the American voters are being suckered in by media and politics….after all, Bush was voted into office not once, but twice. Not a sore loser, just disillusioned.

My first post so please be kind. I have a very profitable Koi Pond supply business and yes I will expect to see my taxes go up a bit with Obama.
My business model is so much better than the other members of my industry I thought I would spend a few years and travel around the country teaching others how to easily duplicate my acheivements and profits.
I spent 3 years traveling the US and during that time my personal income dropped from about 400,000 a year to a little over 250,000 this last year.
Here comes the funny part- It appears that EVERYONE in the entire pond industry is a poor white republican. With the exception of one business owner each of the hundreds of companies and owners I worked with would rather fail than to even open up their minds long enough to listen to anyone else.
I gave up 150,000 a year in my own profits so I could travel the country and help others stay in business and never charged a dime for my time and services.
The result was ZERO effect on my industry and today it is in dire straights as these companies are folding like a deck of cards.
Now I do not fully understand what this means but if you put it into prospective with our current political situation I think it is easy to see that many of my fellow Republicans would call my sacrafice a form of Socialism!
Perhaps we are too busy hoping that Obama will fail so we can gloat that we forget that our actions, and inactions are a significant part of the problem.
For my personal experience I will have to tell you I have met pig headed Democrats and Pig headed Replublicans. I honestly have to say that those on each party who are too stuck in their ways to change will fail no matter who they vote for.
I wish this country and whoever is our next president the best of luck. I pray for our united American spirit to once again show the world that we have the power to acheive greatness and that we individually control our own destinies.
Good luck to each of you and please do not reply with hate filled comments. You are all better people than how you represent yourselves on these blogs.

The comments Richardson made are being taken out of context (oh surprise…) like so much that the McCain supporters have to say in this election.
I guess they think if they say Obama will “raise taxes” enough, it’ll somehow be true. It is not.
Go to barackobama.com if you care to know the truth.

Sadly, the true US *legal* Federal Appeal situation that occurs when any of our uneducated American prison inmates are forced to attempt to submit their own written Federal Appeals (from our prisons nationwide) without the assistance of proper legal counsel, is that they all are in reality being denied their legitimate rights for Habeas Corpus with our US FEDERAL COURTS and will win any future Supreme Court Case concerning this injustice!
