McCain Urges Bush To Spend $1 Trillion On Bailout — Without Congressional Approval
I’m not making this up. John McCain today urged the Bush Administration — on more than one occasion — to immediately and uniliterally spend $1 trillion buying up home mortgages.
I was watching live when he made the proposal this morning, and it seemed like such a staggeringly insane idea that I assumed he couldn’t be serious. He couldn’t think that Bush should just spend $1 trillion without asking Congress for permission…could he?
But then I saw his economic adviser try to back the idea up, and then I saw McCain make the proposal again during the NBC Nightly newscast. So he’s serious. He really thinks that Bush should just spend $1 trillion without talking to Congress, without seeking approval, without building any sort of consensus — without getting any protections whatsoever for taxpayers.
YOU PEOPLE WHO ARE VOTING FOR THIS MAN ARE AS INSANE AS HE IS…..

I’ve seen clips of Palin debate, and she clearly holds her own. Should we believe Halcro? Well, let’s see, didn’t he lose the election to her? Wasn’t he coming in thinking his credentials could float him, and then lost massively to her in the election? I would say Mr. Halcro has a grudge, wouldn’t you say?
Poor, poor Mr. Biden. Nobody is paying attention to Mr. Gaffe, and wasn’t it he who lovingly said “Obama is not ready to be President”?

Try using context. McCain stated that the Fed had a trillion dollars, part of which that could be used as a stopgap until legislation was passed by congress. He was trying to calm things down and save the markets from another plunge.
Using that fact out of context makes you look like a fool.

Empty suit Obama was agitating and making Banks give unworthy inner city residents massive loans that have a snowball in hell chance of being repaid while McCain was fighting the evil-doers in Congress, namely the democrats or demagogues-rats.

CNN thought about reporting McCain home on being for sale but did not think about Obama’s ACORN roots. How liberal?
I wonder why liberals think it is a good word. May be they should stay in Cuba where affordable health care and government sponsored health care is available. Or they can go to China and let the government provide them with an apartment and also a job. Quite utopian out there you know.

Had you watched the debate between McCain and Obama last Friday? I had heard plenty specific answers from Obama in terms of his perspectives and vision on economy and foreign policy.
If you do not think Palin is an empty suit, can you name few statements made by Palin that are intelligent?
