Investigators probing ACORN have learned that an Ohio man registered to vote several times and CAST A BOGUS BALLOT with a fake address, officials said yesterday, as they revealed that nearly 4,000 registration applications supplied by the left-leaning activist group were suspect.
The vote of Darnell Nash, one of four people subpoenaed in a Cuyahoga County probe of ACORN’s voter-registration activities, was canceled and his case was turned over to local prosecutors and law enforcement, Board of Elections officials said yesterday.
Nash had registered to vote repeatedly from an address that belonged to a legitimately registered voter, officials said during a hearing at which the subpoenaed voters were to testify.
Board officials had contacted Nash this summer, questioned his address and told him to stop repeat registering.
But still, he breezed into Ohio election offices – the state allows early voting for president – reregistered with a fake address and cast a paper ballot, officials said.
“He came in on 9/30 and Mr. Nash again registered to vote at [someone else's] address, and he cast a ballot,” said board official Jane Platten.
Nash did not turn up for the hearing.
Expect to hear about a lot more of these, especially in Ohio, where the Obama campaign is trying to steal the state with great help from same day registrations.

JACKSON ON OBAMA’S AMERICA
PREPARE for a new America: That’s the message that the Rev. Jesse Jackson conveyed to participants in the first World Policy Forum, held at this French lakeside resort last week.
He promised “fundamental changes” in US foreign policy – saying America must “heal wounds” it has caused to other nations, revive its alliances and apologize for the “arrogance of the Bush administration.”
The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where “decades of putting Israel’s interests first” would end.
Jackson believes that, although “Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades” remain strong, they’ll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.
“Obama is about change,” Jackson told me in a wide-ranging conversation. “And the change that Obama promises is not limited to what we do in America itself. It is a change of the way America looks at the world and its place in it.”
Jackson warns that he isn’t an Obama confidant or adviser, “just a supporter.” But he adds that Obama has been “a neighbor or, better still, a member of the family.” Jackson’s son has been a close friend of Obama for years, and Jackson’s daughter went to school with Obama’s wife Michelle.
“We helped him start his career,” says Jackson. “And then we were always there to help him move ahead. He is the continuation of our struggle for justice not only for the black people but also for all those who have been wronged.”
Will Obama’s election close the chapter of black grievances linked to memories of slavery? The reverend takes a deep breath and waits a long time before responding.
“No, that chapter won’t be closed,” he says. “However, Obama’s victory will be a huge step in the direction we have wanted America to take for decades.”
Jackson rejects any suggestion that Obama was influenced by Marxist ideas in his youth. “I see no evidence of that,” he says. “Obama’s thirst for justice and equality is rooted in his black culture.”
But is Obama – who’s not a descendant of slaves – truly a typical American black?
Jackson emphatically answers yes: “You don’t need to be a descendant of slaves to experience the oppression, the suffocating injustice and the ugly racism that exists in our society,” he says. “Obama experienced the same environment as all American blacks did. It was nonsense to suggest that he was somehow not black enough to feel the pain.”
Is Jackson worried about the “Bradley effect” – that people may be telling pollsters they favor the black candidate, but won’t end up voting for him?
“I don’t think this is how things will turn out,” he says. “We have a collapsing economy and a war that we have lost in Iraq. In Afghanistan, we face a resurgent Taliban. New threats are looming in Pakistan. Our liberties have been trampled under feet . . . Today, most Americans want change, and know that only Barack can deliver what they want. Young Americans are especially determined to make sure that Obama wins.”
He sees a broad public loss of confidence in the nation’s institutions: “We have lost confidence in our president, our Congress, our banking system, our Wall Street and our legal system to protect our individual freedoms. . . I don’t see how we could regain confidence in all those institutions without a radical change of direction.”
Jackson declines to be more concrete about possible policy changes. After all, he insists, he isn’t part of Obama’s policy team. Yet he clearly hopes that his views, reflecting the position of many Democrats, would be reflected in the policies of an Obama administration.
On the economic front, he hopes for “major changes in our trading policy.”
“We cannot continue with the open-door policy,” he says. “We need to protect our manufacturing industry against unfair competition that destroys American jobs and creates ill-paid jobs abroad.”
Would that mean an abrogation of the NAFTA treaty with Canada and Mexico?
Jackson dismisses the question as “premature”: “We could do a great deal without such dramatic action.”
His most surprising position concerns Iraq. He passionately denounces the toppling of Saddam Hussein as “an illegal and unjust act.” But he’s now sure that the United States “will have to remain in Iraq for a very long time.”
What of Obama’s promise to withdraw by 2010? Jackson believes that position will have to evolve, reflecting “realities on the ground.”
“We should work with our allies in Iraq to consolidate democratic institutions there,” he says. “We must help the people of Iraq decide and shape their future in accordance with their own culture and faith.”
On Iran, he strongly supports Obama’s idea of opening a direct dialogue with the leadership in Tehran. “We’ve got to talk to tell them what we want and hear what they want,” Jackson says. “Nothing is gained by not talking to others.”
Would that mean ignoring the four UN Security Council resolutions that demand an end to Iran’s uranium-enrichment program? Jackson says direct talks wouldn’t start without preparations.
“Barack wants an aggressive and dynamic diplomacy,” he says. “He also wants adequate preparatory work. We must enter the talks after the ground has been prepared,” he says.
Jackson is especially critical of President Bush’s approach to the Israel-Palestine conflict.
“Bush was so afraid of a snafu and of upsetting Israel that he gave the whole thing a miss,” Jackson says. “Barack will change that,” because, as long as the Palestinians haven’t seen justice, the Middle East will “remain a source of danger to us all.”
“Barack is determined to repair our relations with the world of Islam and Muslims,” Jackson says. “Thanks to his background and ecumenical approach, he knows how Muslims feel while remaining committed to his own faith.”

**Hawaii is a state fool!
His paternal grandmother and 2 aunts insists he was born in Kenya–and they were present at his birth. So far he has not provided proof of a sealed birth certificate from Hawaii, and ien’st even sure what hospital he was born in. None of the Honolulu (where he says he was born) hospitals have a hospital record of his birth.

Actually, McCain’s birth place has been more of a legitimate dispute than Obama’s. Since McCain was born in Panama Canal Zone, he actually had a vote of Congress determine that he was a US citizen. Also, he was recently subject to a lawsuit in California (thrown out) based on his birth place.

Anyone can phone in a birth announcement to a newspaper. From anywhere. And in a real sense its irrelevant. When Obama’s Mom married Lolo Soereto he either adopted Barry or acknowledged him, and made him a citizen of Indonesia. Indonesia was at war at the time, and ONLY citizens were allowed to go to school, he had to be a citizen and would have had to prove that. Dual citizenship was not recognized. That being the case, Indonesian Islamic Citizen Barry Soereto returned to the US and would have become a Naturalized citizen. Not Natural Born.
On the Issue of McCain, the vote in the Senate happened to finally put to complete rest any question that McCain was anything other than a US citizen. It is factually incorrect to imply that McCain’s status as a US citizen is more questionable than Obama’s. 100% for certain that is completely incorrect. Its Obama who refuses to produce a valid Birth certificate to the Court. It is Obama’s citizenship that is in question. Then which Hospital’s Vital statistics have you checked? Both? Because two hospitals have been named as the place he was born at. And for CERTAIN private citizens can indeed put a birth announcement in a paper. You can not prove that Obama is a US citizen with a newspaper clipping of clearly uncertain origin. And if indeed this is the case, why hasn’t Obama simply given Judge Barclay Surrick a certified copy of his Birth Certificate from Hawaii. The case would be tossed inside 30 seconds. But Noooooo Obama has to move to delay Discovery, the time he as to produce SOMETHING…. Why? Because he can’t Prove he is a natural Born citizen. If its all hooey, why not just pony up the Certificate of Live Birth??? Answer that one.

I don’t have a link verifying it, but I read that the suit against McCain regarding his not being a “natural born citizen” because he was born in the Panama Canal Zone was dismissed for lack of standing, the same thing that Obama has moved. For those who say why doesn’t he simply produce a birth certificate, there is are easy answers: 1) It is always better to get a case thrown out early than to have to present evidence, defend yourself in court, take a chance even if it is a remote chance, and maybe have to face an appeal or other complications. 2) Obama would not want to set the precedent that just any one of millions of people can file a suit and demand documents from anyone running for President.

On that page is also a picture of a Honolulu newspaper birth announcement in 1961 for a son born to Mr. and Mrs. Barack H Obama on August 4. More important is the information in comment #18 at http://texasdarlin.wordpress.com/2008/07/23/obama-was-born-in-hawaii-wrong-can-of-worms/ where an anti-Obama blogger checking it out found that the birth announcements in that paper in 1961 were not submitted by family, but were all based on lists sent to the newspaper from the Department of Vital Records which compiled them from birth certificates they received from local hospitals.
Thus, independent of any photo of a birth certificate is evidence that Barack Obama was born in a Honolulu hospital on August 4, 1961.

By no means do I claim to be a scholar, but only a knowledgeable person can understand the concept that life is an in-transfer of knowledge and many scholars believe that over 90% of the things we learn, we learn from others. So when you have someone like Barack and Michelle Obama graduating with honors from one of our Country most prestigious College institution, this is an above average achievement to say the least. Barack often talks about how his Mom would wake him up at 4 in the morning to study his lessons, and he often expressed how upset it would make him, but let’s look at his achievements because of his mother’s love, concern and determination. Michelle also described how her parents stayed on her and her brother emphasizing the importance of an education and limiting them to just one hour a day of television viewing. As a result of their parent’s commitment to their lives, they attended Chicago’s most prestigious academic public high school, Whitney Young.
The reason I share this story is because of a few of reasons. The first being, I too had the honor of having my niece attend Whitney Young after getting chosen out of thousands of applicants of all nationalities of Chicago’s brightest kids. As a result of attending Whitney Young, she went on to get her P.H.D. from Yale and graduated with honors also. Once again, this is no average achievement. It was a result of the countless hours that my sister devoted in preparing her when she was a young child. We all know that when you devote yourself to higher learn, it prepares you to have a better understanding of power, conflict resolution skills, discernment, philosophy, theory and many more other helpful attributes that bring about a better understanding of life challenges.
Bill and Hillary Clinton was another couple that did quite well at Ivory league School, not to mention that Bill was a road scholar. Even though we may have felt embarrassed with their questionable personal shenanigans, while in the Whitehouse. Nevertheless, there is one thing I am sure we all can agree on, and that is their political achievements were very admirable. Joe Biden has a law degree, and his wife is currently an English professor in Delaware. Now let’s look at George Bush, who was an underachiever in College (C. Student) and became this nation President. Regardless if you were one of the ones that voted for him, there is no denying that his Presidency was a complete disaster, plain and simple. After witnessing an underachiever in college get elected to the Whitehouse, and almost completely destroy our Country, we find ourselves once again contemplating foolishly doing it again with John McCain who graduated fifth from the bottom. This is simply unbelievable.
This Country has always promoted the idea that we are a nation that is built by the best and the brightest. Even our military have now adapted this same slogan, now it appears that we have a difference slogan for the Presidency, which now says that we are a nation that allows underachievers to become the President, which makes no sense. In closing, Sarah Palin attended five difference Colleges, one being a Community Junior College, and the last being Idaho which has one of the nation lowest SAT and ACT entry acceptance scores (Math SAT, 549 Verbal SAT, 559 ACT, 23). Out of 210 major Colleges I surveyed, there were only 13 Colleges with a lower SAT and ACT entry acceptance score than Idaho.
So when Sarah Palin feels like knocking Barack Obama for being a community organizer, she must have forgotten that he graduated from Harvard law School with honors and taught Constitutional law. Our best law firms in the Country only hires the brightest students from College, so why should it be any different when we choose someone for our Nation top job. This Country is the land of opportunity for those who work hard. Thus, in my final analysis on this matter is in no way meant to be cynical and undermine this basis concept, when I make it known that Gov Palin husband never graduated from College and worked 20 years as a blue-collar employee in the oil fields of the North Slope of Alaska. I know he is not running for any major office, but are these truly the credentials to get you in the Whitehouse. After electing George Bush and finding out that he had a problem, with completing an entire sentence should have been the final nail in the coffin for all Americans. Sorry to contradict the writer, but 1) At least one person attended both rallies, me! 2)the Clintons and Bidens rally on Sunday had twice as many attendees as the Palin rally today; 3) the Palin talk was in the Bush Leagues, were as the speakers on Sunday were in the Premier Leagues. The applause and conduct of the crowd today was much more subdued than on Sunday.
Leni Riefenstahl would have felt at home filming the episode today, as the over-the-top patriotism, would have been her cup of tea. I have attended about 50 political rallies in my life (the first HST in Scranton and the next JFK as well). I never heard the national anthem being played at any of the others. I found it rather out of place.

This is a very interesting turn of events. The American man Dr Corsi was recently reported to have been arrested in Kenya because there was fear that he might reveal information on Obama when he wanted to hold a press conference in Nairobi.
The question now is why he was arrested and who ordered his arrest. Was Obama’s hand in this in any way? We will never know the truth but what is clear is that Dr Corsi was seen as a threat while in Kenya.
When API asked Mrs Obama to comment on why Dr Corsi was arrested by the Kenyan government and whether she thought Kenya’s Prime Minister Mr Raila Odinga was involved in Dr Corsi’s arrest, she got irritated and and simply told API not to dig that which will support evil people who are out to stop her husband from getting the presidency.
When asked who she was referring to as the evil people, she stated that she was not going to elaborate much on that but that many conservative white people and even some African Americans were against her husband, but that this?group of blacks were simply doing so because of envy.
On Farakhan and his ministry, Mrs Obama told API that it was unfortunate that Mr Farakhan came out the way he did supporting her husband openly before the elections was over. That was not wholehearted support but one that was calculated to convince the American people that my husband will support the growth of muslim faith if he became the president, adding “even if my husband was able to prove that he is not a Muslim, he will not be believed by those who have come out strongly to destroy his chances of being the next President. Do real people expect someone to deny a religion when 80 percent of his relatives are Muslims?; Mrs Obama asked.

Greg h: You are so right. I was reading the sun-Times todayand it stated that Palin is so popular and her crowds are so big she was asked to do four rallies a day. I don’t know if she would do that however three would be fine. Incidently, I do not believe the polls. They are building Obama up trying to convince the public that the election is over. Nothing is over until its over. And no one knows who will win or lose. I hope that McCain wins the debate and really talks more precise than last time. I believe the last two debates were a tie no matter what other’s thought.

Sue M. As soon as McCain joined the Navy he automatically became a citizen of this country. My bother was not a citizen of this country until he was served papers to serve in World War II. Then he automatically became a citizen. That’w the way it works.

Greg: She’s the governor, she doesn’t have to return. Besides that she is campaigning for McCain. And Lee Greenwood has a tremendous voice compared to some singers that only sound good with a good background of music playing. Palin is a true American, Obama is not and never was and neither is his close friend William the bomber Ayers. Get a grip. There are not too many true Americans in this young generation. Obama in his debate tonight has really been double talking about Acorn and Ayers. And if the public falls for that they better go back to school and start all over.

Dave: I understand he was born in Kenya but she didn’t register his birth there brought him to Hawaii that that hospital registered him making believe he was born in Hawaii. I never believed him to be born in US but in Kenya.
