Top 5 Movies During Our Worst Financial Times

When the markets head south, people head to the movies.  A blog called "The Jinni" has gathered up a list of the top movies during the nation’s lowest times.  Not sure what it all means, but below is both the crisis and the top grossing movie: 1929 Stock Market Crash — "The Broadway Melody"      1973 Oil Crisis — "The Exorcist"

1987 Black Monday Crash — "Three Men and a Baby"

      1990 Recession — "Home Alone"

2001 Collapse of Dot Com Bubble — "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone"
