“Closing Arguments”

That lawyerly phrase — "Closing Arguments" — takes on political meaning this campaign season; as in, a final case made to the public, after nearly two years later. Today of course we’ll hear the cases made on the stump, but you also have long "closing arguments" on the opinion pages of the Wall Street Journal. Here from Senator McCain; here, Senator Obama. And we’ll have the candidates tonight as well: last week Charlie Gibson asked each man to make his case, one last time, on the eve of the vote. We’ll have those answers — call them "Closing Arguments" — tonight.

THINK ! Anyone who would spend 20 years in the racist, America hating church of Jeremiah Wright either agrees with Wright or lacks the judgement to leave. What this single fact says about Barack Hussein Obama should be enough for anyone to vote for McCain. I wouldn’t spend 20 minutes listening to Wright, never mind 20 years. Would you ?

BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA has no experience which could remotely qualify him for the Presidency. In these dangerous times we don’t need a Community Organizer, we don’t need a guy who votes “present” on difficult issues, we don’t need a guy whos primary claim to fame is serving 154 days in the US Senate, and we certainly don’t want anyone who runs with racist, America haters like Jeremiah Wright or Communist terrorists like Bill Ayers. Vote for a man of character and courage. VOTE McCAIN-PALIN.

If I understand correctly that the Iraq war and the stock market/banking bailout is being paid for with borrowed money, then the programs either McCain or Obama propose would be paid for by more borrowed money. That would mean more debt and depending on the winner more earmarked projects by the controlling party. I do not understand how either candidate can promise so much and so many people not do the math as to how much these proposals will cost and how they will be financed. Some hard decisions have to made by Washington and these same people will have to be held accountable, punished, and removed.

I knew there would be cheating. I got a phine call telling me where to go and vote. I vote right here at my address, which is a polling station; always have. But now, someone is trying to send me to the wrong place. Thank God I already voted absentee. HAH! I’ve already votyed for Obama. This is a senior citizen building and we, as well as the community vote here.
I already know it’s going to be some mess tomorrow.
