A Newsweek piece that says Palin ran up a clothing tab that far exceeds the previously tallied $150,000.
What’s going on here? In defeat comes blame. And the inevitable leaks. But above the sniping looms a bigger question: where does the Republican Party go from here? Political analysts point to the several factions of the party — the small government fiscal conservatives, the evangelicals, and the everyday blue collar populists. Who will lead the Republican Party and to where? Will one faction set the agenda? And how much do the leaks – true or not – about Sarah Palin have to do with that bigger question?
