What Wine to Serve Tomorrow? Click for the Answer

Lots of shopping going on today…the feast fast approaching.  So, if you’re the one stuck with the job of showing up with the wine…what to do?  Newspapers have been all over this in the past couple of days.  If you’ve missed it, here you go: Newsday:

Reporter Peter Gianotti names names…here’s an excerpt from his piece:

"Consider the 2007 Georges DuBouef Fleurie and the 2007 Moulin-á- Vent ($16 each); the lush Potel-Aviron Morgon Cote du Py ($23); floral and fruitier 2006 Potel-Aviron Cote de Brouilly ($18). Louis Jadot’s 2006 Chateau de Jacques Moulin-á- Vent ($20) and 2007 Beaujolais-Villages ($12) are first-rate."

Washington Post:

A recent piece had some general recommendations…gravitate to Burgundy (pinot and chardonay) as well as Beaujolais (recommended: cru Beaujoais Regnie and Moulin-a-Vent)

The St. Louis Dispatch focused on wines under $20.  Two they liked:
