I’m with you. This is a striking photo, yet I don’t know why. Strangely sophisticated, maybe? Strangely unsettling? Could it be that we don’t want to see our president looking cool, or do we appreciate that finally we have a cool-looking president? I’m at a loss.

Breaking News: Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod and President elect Barack Obama are actually transformers. While Emanuel and Axelrod were able to easily transform into GM SUV’s ( left ), Obama is a less interesting private detective transformer.

I am so happy that he won, but also hope everyone realizes that the mess he has to clean up is going to take time & effort on everyones part and that we need to have patience.

I’m more interested in Obama’s pick for
White House Chief of Staff:
Rahm Emanuel.
Rahm’s antics in the past are legendary:
stabbing a restaurant table while talking about ‘disloyal democrats’ to Bill Clinton, and screaming ‘dead’.
Rahm Emanuel is said to be a finger-jabber who’s been known to pinch men in the arm and leave a bruise.
I would call this immature, but it borders on being on the thug side, as well.
None of this comes as a surprise.
Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and a
picture is just a picture.
But then again, just maybe this picture is worth a thousand words.
I don’t know. I do know that Obama’s true character is emerging slowly -
i.e. Rahm Emanuel -

What an outstanding choice Rahm Emmanuel for one of the most important appointments in the Executive branch. Smart, savvy, experienced, respected, tough. Get things done kind of guy. Wonderful choice.
