“America’s Most Wanted” Cold Case Cracked? John Walsh’s Son
It has been almost 3 decades since Adam Walsh, the 6 year old son of John Walsh, disappeared. The case would take many twists and turns through the years and finally, today, it appears to be wrapping up. We are awaiting an afternoon press conference, but already Florida newspapers are reporting that police will say that the top suspect in the case was in fact the killer. That suspect, Otis Toole, died in prison in the 1990′s while serving time for another offense. John Walsh of course went on to create the very powerful "America’s Most Wanted" television franchise. A program credited with solving a long list of "cold cases" and invigorating the police – public relation when it comes to sharing information about crimes. John Walsh and his wife will be present today at the announcement from police regarding their son.

I have read John’s book, “Tears of Rage” and it moved me beyond words. How wonderful that he turned something so unspeakably tragic into a movement that helped to bring justice to many vicious killers and justice to their victims’ families as well.

Thank you John for your great work.
I know what you have gone through by losing a loved one. I too have just lost my son in July/08. He was found unconscious in a backlane. He was taken to the hospital at 2:30 A.M. Passed away the next day. Detectives are working on this case as of now.Dec.31/008
