Bla-GONE-evich?
Forgive the tabloid headline, but we must ask: The Illinois Governor’s chief of staff, John Harris, has resigned… The Illinois Attorney General, Lisa Madigan, says she is prepared to go to her state’s supreme court to ask for the Governor’s removal… And calls for Blagojevich’s resignation multiply… We’re wondering: Is the end near for the Governor?

Judging from the article about Rahm getting death threats, I am willing to bet that there are a bunch of people trying to get into the witness protection program about now. I always figured Obama would get shot, never thought about his chief of staff being that much at risk. Looks like I was wrong. This guy make Al Capone look like nothing.

Oh please!!! “His administration could be over before it even started”? Give me a break! When did this become an Obama scandal? Officials have said over and over again that Barack Obama had NOTHING to do with this. Stop trying to tie Obama to this and get over it already!!! Idiot!

oyez Blago is gonna roll!
As for the rest on here with conspiracy bovine #########, perhaps a visit to the local mental health provider would help get things back into the perspective of reality.

Blago is dead meat. Just as he has been in Illinois for several years. He has been isolated and ostracized by his own party for quite some time. Emil Jones had been his only ally, and he retired. Obama, Durbin, Daley, Mike Madigan, Lisa Madigan, Quinn all have had nothing to do with this narcissitic pariah.

Keep grasping at those straws, you delusional Obama haters. Don’t you get it? Emmanuel fed Blago to the FBI!

Please – oh please. Obama has not played ball with this man. Well at least not over his seat in COngress. B-Rod (Not to be confused with A-Rod) is nothing but a grade D thug and loser.

Blagojevich should do the only honorable thing left to do, resign immediately.
not everyone who got a phone call from Blagojevich is corrupt. and i think to impugn Rahm Emmanuel is really dirty.
so he called someone on the transition team? they told him to “poof-poof, be gone” as Kanye would say.
this has nothing to do about Obama. Blagojevich hates Obama and Emmanuel.
conspire if you must, just a waste of time.

Most people are aware that Obama and Blago did not like each other. We know that Obama had nothing to do with Blago’s scheme. However, the scheme involved Obama’s senate seat.
Why was Blago ‘disgusted’ with Obama?
It had to be that Obama knew about Blago’s scheme, OR, at least Obama knew something about Blago’s scheme.
It’s not enough for a senator (and especially a President-Elect) to not participate in the scheme. Obama was under legal and moral obligation to report anything that was out of the ordinary.
I know that Chicago may have different definitions of ‘ordinary’. Obama needed to come forth with what he knew before the media got a hold of it.

If Rahm Emanuel is getting death threats we should put surveillance on Obama. That is how things work in Chicago. If some one might have dirt on you then you eliminate them before they can talk.

Why should Blago resign? The prosecutor stopped the investigation before any money changed hands and before any offer to accept a bribe was made. The real question is why the prosecutor stopped the investigation when he did. It is very odd to stop an investigation before a clear case can be made against the accussed. Is the prosecutor trying to protect Obama? Did he have an indication that Rahm was about to play ball with Blago with Obama’s support?
Very odd…
