Bush, Cheney & “So What?” Continued
Seems the "So what?" story we posted earlier today has blogosphere legs.
We particularly like what CNN’s Jeannie Moos has done with it.
Comments to your post are divided — "mad-in-USA" is mad at us, and comes to Dick Cheney’s defense:
"Where is the question mark in Martha Raddatz’s statement? It was a
statement during a question and answer session. Cheney was saying, "So
(what is your question)?"
While commenter "gjhardtimes" says:
"It shows how smart this administration has been and the respect
they show for the American people that still have COMMON SENSE. With
those answers it sounds like some teenage person’s respond to a HARD
question."

Bottom Line – Cheney is a sick SOB and doesn’t care that Americans have died in Iraq and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have died because he and Bush wanted to beat up Saddam Hussein for his oil. Don’t give us that “Saddam was a bad man and was keeping his people oppressed” b.s. More Iraqis have suffered since U.S. invaded Iraq than had suffered during Saddam’s entire regime. If the Iraqi people hated him so much, they should have rebeled. And I understand he gassed lots of Kurds and anyone else who opposed him, but tyrants do that all over the world and the U.S. doesn’t go in and overthrow their dictators and take over their country. Look what’s happening in Africa? Are we over there helping the poor people who are being raped and murdered? No!! Maybe they don’t have any natural resources we want, is that it??

Neither Bush nor Cheny has shown any respect for the Constitution since they’ve been in office. Their position has always been arrogant and, a lot of times, just borders on stupidity. Maybe our last hope is that the world body that tries war crimes will step in and do what we should be doing.
