New Tool May Reduce Number Of Breast Cancer Surgeries

It’s one of the great frustrations in fighting breast cancer. Every year in this country, tens of thousands of women have had to undergo not one, but two, and sometimes even three surgeries to remove all of the cancer. But researchers are now working on a device that may help surgeons know in that very first operation whether they’ve got the tumor once and for all.
