Cheney In a Wheelchair with Pulled Back Muscle

While moving boxes into his new home in McLean, Va., Vice President Cheney pulled a muscle in his back and will take part in Tuesday’s inauguration from a wheelchair. Statement from White House Press Secretary Dana Perino: "Vice President Cheney pulled a muscle in his back today while moving boxes into his new house. Under his physician’s recommendation, the Vice President will be in a wheelchair for the next couple of days, including for tomorrow’s inauguration. The Vice President is looking forward to being there for tomorrow’s historic inaugural activities."

I have to agree with Mike C. I am a democrat and proudly voted for Obama, but part of my love and respect for Obama is his hope and love for unity with his fellow American, regardless of party, regardless of race, regardless of difference of opinion, regardless of economic status. On a political level, I do not like Cheney, nor do I trust him. But on a human level, he is a man, that I am sure from his perspective, no matter how distorted I think that perspective is, that he has done good. I don;t wish anyone, not even Bush, any kind of ill health. I actually feel for Cheney (can’t believe I’m saying that lol) that he has a sore pulled muscle in his back and has to go SIT in the COLD for hours. I have had a pulled back and I can;t think anything much worse. And I commend him for doing it for the sake of respect toward the Obamas. He could have very easily backed out and not been there. So to Cheney…I hate your politics, but I wish you a speedy recovery, and enough motrin to get you through today! When did Americans start being so mean sprited? That is not what Obama is about, so for the posts previous to this, you should really rethink why you are pro Obama. If you are really pro Obama, you wouldn’t wish ill will on Cheney.
