Every day, when you come home, put all of your change into a jar with a lid. You will be pleasantly surprised how much you do not miss the change and how much you accumulate over a very short time.
I have done this for years through thick and thin and it works. At times, I have cashed the jar in for $30, $40, up up to $110.
Good luck
