Former President Bush: Last Morning In The White House

President Bush went into the Oval Office this morning at about 6:50…the usual time. He later decided to take one last walk around the South Lawn before going up to the residence. Dana Perino saw him this morning and she said that "He gave me a great big kiss on my forehead, I will never forget it. I love him." I asked her if Bush was emotional, she said "We are all emotional," but then said "He was very upbeat." I think that President Bush genuinely LIKES Obama…in any conversation I have had with President Bush…it is clear. I just walked into the West Wing…there were vacuum cleaners going…and they were cleaning the windows in Dana’s office. It is a ghost town here…
