Scam artists are already trying to cash in on the federal stimulus package, emailing people promising them stimulus money in exchange for personal information or a small fee. The Federal Trade Commission says if you get any message like this, ignore it or delete it. To file a complaint or to get free information on consumer issues visit ftc.gov/complaint or call 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357).
