But Is It Art?

"Sir" Allen Stanford ruins avant-garde art exhibition: artist Chris Burden was planning to use 100 kilos of gold purchased from accused swindler R. Allen Stanford’s empire in an art installation, the Village Voice reports.  But the SEC has frozen all Stanford-linked assets, including the gold.  So, no show for Burden.

The artist was reportedly planning to use the gold to make either a tower or a pick-up truck. Or both.
