My husband and I have 4 cats. Before i met him I hated cats. Swore I would never own cats. Then I met him and his cats. I fell in love with them all.

“pinky” our nearly 1 yr. old grey-n-black striped, white booted, pink nosed cat is the one of our two cats that hooked up w/ the two strays a few weeks ago, one being coal black and the other golden white. (didn’t get her to the vet in time) Consequently, she is currently about as wide as she is long, and will deliver those kittens any day. My husband is always checking on her, making her a delivery nest with a laundry basket and fluffy soft towels, which she refuses to stay in. He wants her in the house and not out roaming the acreage, and he calls her his little girl. Well, so do I, being a wife and mother of two boys and male dogs (testoserone/speed vision driven home) it rings a happy tone in my voice to ask, “has anyone seen the girl’s?” So no, I do not think it at all out of the ordinary for men to like cats. In fact, I tease my friends and tell them that our “little pinked nosed hussy” is making us kitty grandparents! It’s exciting!

I think it says alot about a man that likes cats. I have a cat, her name is Jewel and she really likes men. In fact if a man comes to the house she thinks she their lap is for her to sit in. Most men that I have meet that likes cats seem to be more caring, tender and passionate. What women wouldn’t like that.

We have five house cats, 1 feral cat that lives on our back deck and two small dogs. The oldest of our kitties is Pepper who turns 10 years old next month. My husband calls her “Baby”. He loves all of our animals and has never thought it made him less ‘manly’ to love or baby talk our cats. My youngest son has two cats and two dogs. He’s a police officer and is very manly. He just happens to love animals.
I am ‘way’ past considering other men but I would think a man with a cat or cats would be very appealing to a woman unless she had a cat allergy.
