Fixation: Living in the Present Moment w/Deepak Chopra

User Comments

At the moment, I am waiting for my backyard to get ripped up because a huge white maple tree has strangled our septic drainfield. Where will we shower when we have to cut off the tank? When will he finish? Will we need a new drainfield and how will this one hold up if we retain it? I am trying to apply Mr Chopra’s tactic, because as a heart patient, mid-40s female, parent, human being, I simply feel like freaking out. Reading the news – little girl in NoCal found in a suitcase in an irrigation pond – where is God in that? That sort of thing – filthy rotten things happening to good people? WHY? I appreciate Mr Chopra very much at this point – raised Christian, lately they are the very ones that I’m struggling with due to behaviors that don’t “add up” to that title. In fact, God’s very existence is questionable for me right now. Dan Harris, thank you for your “fix.” I call it “ruminating.” :)
