Iraq: A Nation Under Transformation
Six years after the U.S. invasion in Iraq, our reporter Terry McCarthy has found tremendous signs of progress. 59 percent of Iraqis now say they feel very safe in their neighborhoods, according to the latest ABC News/BBC/NHK poll. 60 percent of people expect things to improve further next year. On a road trip from Baghdad to Kerbala — crossing 24 checkpoints — our reporter finds a sense of security, optimism and community taking hold.

Well all I can say is thank goodness for the forward thinking.
After over 4,000 of our young men and women dieing over there for a war based on a lie, they should be enjoying something!
Will it stay that way or are we going to go back in 10 to 20 yrs. The point is you can help all you want but they have to want it.
Meanwhile our economy is in a shamble, why, because of President Moron (Bush Jr.)and his war based on a lie!
