A “Nightline” Special: ‘Outbreak-The Facts’ Airs Tonight, Monday, April 27th

ABC News "Nightline" devotes tonight’s broadcast to investigating the Swine Flu epidemic.  In the “Nightline” Special: Outbreak—the Facts,  ABC’s Terry McCarthy reports from Mexico City, on the flu’s overall impact on the country and how Mexico is handling the growing number of swine flu cases.  ABC’s Jeffrey Kofman reports from Oaxaca, Mexico, where the first fatality was reported.  With new cases being reported by the hour, “Nightline” is on the trail of this possible pandemic with an update on the facts. Plus, as the U.S. declares a public health emergency, the program takes a look at the Obama Administration’s response thus far to the threat.

Nightline” is anchored by Cynthia McFadden, Terry Moran, and Martin Bashir.  James Goldston is the executive producer.  “Nightline” airs at 11:35 p.m. (ET/PT) weeknights on the ABC Television Network.
