Canada’s Prime Minister — When You Gotta Go, You Gotta Go

While we wait for more significant news from the G-20 summit today, an intrepid reporter notices the following:

One world leader missed the group photo. That doesn’t usually happen at these gatherings. Heads of state and government usually make it their business to be there for the special photo session; and if someone’s missing, well, there are usually enough protocol types around to notice.

Today however, the Prime Minister of Canada, Steven Harper, ducked out for a trip to the bathroom. No one seemed to miss him. The picture went ahead. A G-19 photo, you could call it.

At any rate, when Mr. Harper reappeared they did another take. He’s in the picture, as they say.

Only American news media would find this worth writing about. They cause the collapse of the world economy, they have two wars going on and maybe looking at North Korea. Lou Dobbs and Glen Beck want walls built around the country and some are saying that twit Palin might be picked to run in the next election. But what do they notice? Someone had to go for a wizz….now that’s news to ABC. Mr. Harper must have tried a watery American beer or some deep fried British food both go through you like Exlax. Don’t worry about it Steve flip them all the bird and come home.
