Closing Argument: Tax Day and Tea Parties

President Obama today called the American tax code "monstrous" and pledged to simplify it. Meanwhile, Americans from Boston to Sacramento hit the streets in apparent protest — critical of massive spending by the Obama administration and the Democratic-led Congress. Encouraged by conservative commentators, they called their gatherings "Tea Parties" in the Revolutionary style. So tonight, we ask: Is today’s display of outrage misguided?
