PMA Update: Feds Curious about Murtha, Visclosky

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette jumps into the PMA story, reporting some new details: – Investigators have been asking "general" questions about both Reps. Pete Visclosky (D-IN) and John Murtha (D-PA). Prosecutors’ interest in Visclosky was reported last weekend, but their curiosity about Murtha, while assumed, had not been confirmed. – Paul Magliocchetti, the lobbyist founder of the PMA Group which is now under scrutiny, is "a man in pain," friends told the paper. The friends described Magliochetti as "sometimes rambling in conversations, calmed by medication and stunned at how a multimillion dollar business he build has vanished amid public speculation that he might have broken the law." – Magliocchetti’s wine locker at the posh politico hangout Capital Grille "sits unattended, bottles showing dust, its brass name-tag, ‘Mags,’ harkening to a time when he was known as a gregarious dinner host." The paper also scored extensive comments from Murtha himself, who has generally been quiet about PMA and Magliocchetti since news of the raid broke.

“We have never been audited in 34 years that I’ve been here. We do everything we can to follow the guidelines set up by this Congress,” Murtha said.
I think it’s time that he is audited, either to prove he is in the legal clear (shutting up Rep Flake) or to continue showing the Democrats will run a clean ship. Good ‘ol boy cronyism helped show Republicans the door, Democrats should learn from them and police their own.

It’s going to be hard to shut up Rep. Flake because there is more investigation to be done, which gives him credit.
Two Federal agents have met with me in person and I turned over my case documents to them. I’m also filing a formal complaint with Congress ethics committee members, Robins Air Force Base contracting office, FBI, OSI, IG and GAO, concerning the very same politicians, as well as Georgia politicians and two more lobbyists.
