Quotes of the Day
"Now they ALL want to be Barack’s buddy." — Headline, New York Daily News, next to photograph of President Obama and G-20 partners Silvio Berlusconi and Dmitry Medvedev
"I’m saddened and hurt but I am not surprised by the indictment. I am innocent. I now will fight in the courts to clear my name. I would ask the good people of Illinois to wait for the trial and afford me the presumption of innocence that they would give to all their friends and neighbors." – Illinois ex-Governor Rod Blagojevich
"Now it is the Iowa legislature’s responsibility to pass the Marriage Amendment to the Iowa Constitution, clarifying that marriage is between one man and one woman, to give the power that the Supreme Court has arrogated to itself back to the people of Iowa. Along with a constitutional amendment, the legislature must also enact marriage license residency requirements so that Iowa does not become the gay marriage Mecca due to the Supreme Court’s latest experiment in social engineering." – Iowa Congressman Steve King, after that state’s court ruled in support of same-sex marriage
"For God’s sake, stop," she sobs. "I swear on my father and grandmother I won’t do it again." – teenage girl in Swat, Pakistan, while she was beaten by the Taliban for an alleged relationship with a man

They want to be his buddy because they can’t believe how dumb he is. They smell blood. He is giving away the US and they are laughing behind closed doors. They will be nice and friendly while getting what they want from a very inexperienced president who they will control. and obama is such a fool. For those of you who think the world hated Bush, got news for ya, they didn’t, they hated what we stood for and that he stood up for it. They hate that the US is the only super power, and everyone wants to be us. Now they see the rookie giving it away with socialism and new world order and they love it. If you don’t believe me, why hasn’t france, Germany, UK ever had such riches as the US?

Do you have a clue of what Obama has been saying and doing or has your hate completely clouded your vision to the point that you ramble on and on with instantiated comments.

How silly all of this is.
Call Marriage the union of one man and one woman.
Call Garriage the union of two people of the same sex.
There you have it, problem solved, no more controversy.

I suppose Republicans can be pessimist about it all, considering that 3.2 million Jobs have been lost, no thanks to the party of supposed fiscal Responsibility, and lower taxes…yep it worked out just fine didn’t it!

The democrats in the senate must have been clueless, too.
What did the democratic majority do to help this situation?
Oh, yes, they shot down legislation for stricter housing and banking laws.
Obama was part of that majority.
It’s cute when people are in denial.
It took BOTH sides of that aisle – dems and repubs alike to make a mess of things.

I’m po’d just like you are.
If the darn Republicans had acted like repubs and not democrats then we wouldn’t be in this mess.
They should have been fiscally responsible.
So I’m with you, we need real Republicans in office.
