Closing Arguments: Afghanistan, Pakistan and Us

The presidents of Afghanistan and Pakistan met with President Obama today in Washington, where they pledged to more aggressively fight Taliban and al Qaeda militants. President Obama applauded the leaders’ current efforts and pushed for even greater cooperation. He also pledged to send 21,000 fresh troops to Afghanistan to fight against the militants.
