Microsoft CEO Talks ‘Bing’ with Charlie Gibson

ABC’s Zach Fannin and Kristi Berner report:

Our Charlie Gibson talked via web cam yesterday with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer about his company’s new search engine Bing. And Ballmer was only cautiously optimistic that Bing –- which Microsoft is calling a "decision engine" –- can top Google at its own best game. But Ballmer says he’s certain his company has a clearly different point of view on how to do a web search.

"We think we have a little different point of view to help people find things a little quicker and get things done more quickly on the Internet," Ballmer told Charlie. "I don’t think people really want 10 choices. I think people want an answer to their question. They want to find the thing they want to buy; they want to plan their trip."
