Spying on Glaciers: Submarines Monitor the Arctic Sea

Scientists warn that the frozen Arctic sea could disappear within the next five to ten years thanks to global warming.  The U.S. military is using submarines submerged below the ice to keep a close watch on the region.  Monitoring cracks and soft spots in the ice, the subs are collecting vital data.  ABC’s David Kerley spent time aboard the USS Annapolis, 350 feet below the frozen ice cap.
