Lisa Marie: MJ Feared Dying Like Elvis

Lisa Marie Presley, Michael Jackson's first wife and the daughter of Elvis, posted a message on her MySpace page about the pop star's death.  She says the two spoke of his death and that he feared he would end up like her father. She writes:  "I can't recall the exact subject matter but he may have been questioning me about the circumstances of my Fathers Death.  At some point he paused, he stared at me very intensely and he stated with an almost calm certainty, 'I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did.'" "I promptly tried to deter him from the idea, at which point he just shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that."   At the end of the post she writes: "As I sit here overwhelmed with sadness, reflection and confusion at what was my biggest failure to date, watching the news almost play by play The exact Scenario I saw happen on August 16th, 1977 [the day Elvis died] happening again right now with Michael (A sight I never wanted to see again) just as he predicted, I am truly truly gutted." Presley also discusses her marriage with the pop-star: "Our relationship was not 'a sham' as is being reported in the press.  It was an unusual relationship yes, where two unusual people who did not live or know a 'Normal life' found a connection, perhaps with some suspect timing on his part.  Nonetheless, I do believe he loved me as much as he could love anyone and I loved him very much." "The hardest decision I have ever had to make, which was to walk away and let his fate have him, even though I desperately loved him and tried to stop or reverse it somehow."

Well, I’m glad to see she got a chance to clear up that whole marriage being a sham thingy. RIP MJ

Huuummmm . . . . .
So does Lisa Marie already know that Michael died from too many prescription drugs, like her father did?
If so all Jackson had to do to not end up like Elvis was to stop taking all the drugs.

And while the world is busy mourning, the Nixon Library used the opportunity to release some more compromising Nixon recordings:
“There are times when an abortion is necessary. I know that. When you have a black and a white. Or a rape.”
Next to GW, Nixon is the best reason for why I am not and never will be a Republican.
O, how I wish he had lived to see Obama inaugurated.

“He knew what he knew…”
I bet a lot of people ‘knew’, too.
His mental illness was apparent, but people desired the money to keep rolling. Pity.

Why do people literally worship these mortal men and women, never cease to amaze me..these people were not and are not good role models for our young people. No wonder this world is slipping and sliding into moral degeneracy. No one’s perfect! That’s true..but why worship these people and spend the whole week talking about them? Let us focus on what’s important..like jobs, education, crime reduction and health care for all citizens of America. What’s wrong with us America?

Uh?
I seem to remember that the immediate cause of Elvis’ demise was a burst colon due to a several-sizes-too-big plug of hard waste that had to go somewhere and couldn’t get out.
The result of too many submarines.
That was why the bathroom floor was such a dreadful mess.

It is hard to believe we have entered the era of L. A. M., whom took every artist before him, chew them up, and rolled them out into the moon walk to end all moon walks. Our brother in the spirit of music is gone but will live on in dance in song. Rest in peace my brother, the vipers cannot touch you now; the world never really knew you but man did we dig your groove.

I think he was a talented musician, but I hardly think he was an Elvis or John Lennon.

Sure he was brilliant, but I agree with others who say that he wasn’t on the level of the Beatles or Elvis. They changed an entire generation. Also, I’m tired of the media talking about how he “broke the race barrier”. I guess they’ve forgotten Jimi Henderix, Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, or even Charlie Pride (in country music in the 1960s of all things.

how some Americans were so bitter that other peeps were paying attention to King of Pop’s death. Well its human nature to grief for their love ones death. If these people are morning it only means they loved MJ like their loved one. So, to all of you, i suggest that you learn how to respect that. Be nice to others it wont hurt you anyway.

Elvis died of a heart attack – per coroner’s report.
He was severly overweight; took drugs; probably needed blood pressure meds instead. He then had a coronary.
Michael was severly underweight; poor nutrition; poor health; took drugs.
His heart stopped.
Same ending. Michael didn’t need ESP to figure the ending out. It was bound to be. Death wish? Stupidity? Pressure from handlers to perform?
Probably all of the above.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure that one out.
I still say Michael was talented, but very sick physically and mentally.
It’s ashame, but true.
You can still love his music and talent, but he was a sick puppy for a very long time.
I feel sorry for Michael as well.
