Obama Donors-to-Diplomats Program Rolls On

President Obama tapped more loyal donors and supporters for ambassadorships, AP reports.

To maintain ties with key hemispheric ally the Bahamas, Obama turned to Nicole Avant, a music executive who helped raise him over a half million dollars, AP reports.

But what about Canada? Who will keep the Canucks in line?  Illinois lawyer David Jacobson, who raised between $50,000 and $100,000 for Obama, according to the AP.  No word on whether he could see Canada from his house, but it was surely a short drive away.
