According to Nielsen Media Research for the week of May 25, 2009, ABC News' "Good Morning America" continued to perform strongly against the competition.  For the most recent week, "Good Morning America" was the only morning news broadcast to increase in both Total Viewers and Adult 25-54 – both week-to-week and year-to-year.  "GMA" also continued to close the gap with NBC's "Today."  The current demo gap with NBC was an impressive 17% smaller vs last week and 13% smaller vs same time last year. In addition, "GMA" closed the Total Viewer gap with NBC by 10% vs same time last year.  NBC also dropped to its lowest Total Viewer delivery since the week of March 23, 2009 and CBS dropped to its lowest since the week of October 13, 2008. 

"Good Morning America" continued to widen its lead over CBS' "The Early Show."  For the most recent week, "GMA" expanded its Adult 25-54 gap with CBS to 800,000 viewers — 18% larger vs last week and 16% larger vs same time last year.  This is the sixth consecutive week of Adult 25-54 losses for CBS and the fourth consecutive decline in Total Viewers for the CBS morning program. 

ABC News' "Good Morning America" is co-anchored by Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts. Chris Cuomo is the news anchor and Sam Champion is the weather anchor. The weekday morning news program airs live Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 9:00am/EDT on the ABC Television Network. Jim Murphy is the senior executive producer and Tom Cibrowski is the executive producer of ABC News' "Good Morning America."
