GM Auction: Everything…Including the Golf Course…Must Go!

Chris Bury reports on tonight’s World News about GM and the company’s speedy exit from bankruptcy.  The American icon is leaving behind all the stuff it no longer wants – and selling in it a corporate version of a garage sale.  From golf courses to churches, there are a lot of things one wouldn’t expect a car company to own. We’ve compiled a slideshow of some of the unusual items up for sale.  Take a look by clicking HERE.

Your web site is junk. I went to follow up on a Charlie Gibson report for the first time, and the links don’t work. Never again.

GM AUCTION:
Let’s by the Golf course and use it for Oldsmobile & Pontiac rallies. Let’s buy the church to pray for the forgiveness of “greed” of GM executives and union brass. And finally, lets buy the rights to the Pontiac and Oldsmobile brands and find the clone to “John DeLoreon” to revive these lables!

Why is the new Cadillac limousine (“The Beast”) that debuted at the Inaugural Parade for President Obama not being used? It has not been seen on newscasts since the parade, nor was it used during the recent overseas trips. Considering the cost of the vehicle and the latest technologies implemented, seems like the new limousine would be in service.

Why are you not reporting about the UAW golf course and retreat center at Onaway Michigan. The greed of the UAW was a large part of the reason for the failure of both GM and Chrysler. Obama is paying them off big time. Why should the UAW big wigs get to keep their golf course, How about some skin in the game. By the way what reason would the UAW spend their members hard earned dues for a retreat center for the UAW big wigs. Must be a very stressful job.

I saw the feture tonight on primetime about the General Motors “Garage Sale”. At the near end it was said that you could view a full list of properties and equipment. I was also hoping to find out how to bid for the properties and see what the prices are. I spent nearly a half hour on looking for the information that I desired but found NOTHING! Whats the point!

Why is that the newscaster or reporter has to add personal inuendos like the GM golf sale ending in “including a slightly contaminated golf course.” the hype and “little personal comments” are reasons that I am steadily moving away from network news to get news. JRS.

You cant bid. Its all being sold to China. GM doesnt want anybody in the US using their old equipment to compete against them.
