I think Brett is great and always have. But it’s time for him to hang up the playing gear. He gave it one last fling with the Jets last year which was fun before it nose dived. There’s plenty of opportunity for him — but not as a player.
man, go away bret ???? favre???????? way to much drama here. rest on your laurels, there are a heck of a lot younger players every year, year after year after year.
I say “YES”. Only because I really want him to play again. I still have this tiny hope that he will skip training camp, then play. It more than likely will not happen. And that puts me in a predicament of finding an NFL team that I truly care to watch.

please brett dont retire we need you because we dont have a QB we need the BEST
Don’t care how old he is…just like to watch his pure passion for the game…not about money, records, or showboating w/him–just old-fashioned, incredible athleticism, guts & heart! You go, Bret, get in there for the injured Jackson and show ‘em how to play the game!!!

FAVRE has every right to retire 100 times an come back he’s earned it. It’s idiot’s like the people in the media that you interviewed JOHN ANDERSON that make him look bad. You people are tired of it cause that’s all you right about or show on ESPN. The NFL needs him there aren’t passionate players like him no more the so called love for the game. Iron Man all day Brett Favre ….

he is not over rated i never wanted to see him in purple but he is great i wish he would of retired after the giants upset in 08 but he is still great i just wished he could of retired on top
I think it’s a terrible idea to take on Brett Favre. Although he shows life, he’s over the hill and crazy. Waste of a building season.
