The obvious reason that Dorothy preferred the scarecrow over the tin man and the cowardly lion is that Ray Bolger was the better dancer. Now, what do I get for the correct answer?

Maybe it’s the dancing, but it seems to be more that the Scarecrow is the most human.
Here’s another one that appears to promote intolerance:
In the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the character played by Bob Hoskins hates all ‘Toons because one of them killed his brother. At the end, he makes an exception and likes Roger Rabbit, but he still hates all the other ‘Toons. Do we want kids to learn that it is okay to hate everyone in a group for what one member did?
