Who Was That Woman Singing At Jackson’s Memorial?

Some big names got up and performed yesterday in honor of Michael Jackson.  Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Jennifer Hudson, on and on.  But towards the end there was a woman, seemingly unknown, who stepped forward and sang lead on "Heal the World" and a big role in "We Are the World".  A lot of head scratching and "isn't she…" ensued.  Rolling Stone has solved the mystery.  Her name is Judith Hill and she is from Pasadena, California.  According to Rolling Stone she was to be one of the backup singers for Jackson's upcoming shows in London.

The tribute to MJ was quite moving and nice to watch however it is over now! Let him rest in peace and stop hyping things up in the media. Enough already!

While I, too, am ready to move on, I have to wonder why MoveOn and Joeray are so tired of the “bs” and “nonsense” but they not only read the articles and take the time to post a comment.
The media is a business. And if the “consumers” are buying, the business continues. These two posters just perpetuate the continuing “bs” and the “nonsense.” Why do you?

The hateful and insensitive words spoken and written about this poor kid, breaks my heart and frustrates me. The people writing and saying terrible things are, more than likely, the type of people that would pass a homeless child and roll their eyes; see an animal in distress and keep going; see an injured human and kick them… I hope you get my point. Most of the people out there only heard his music and the negative “BS” about this PERSON. He was a genius with a broken heart. If you don’t have a heart, I can see how you could never understand that. Those that don’t care or understand, I feel bad for your miserable LITTLE lives. If you don’t care and SO MANY DO, perhaps you may consider asking yourself what is missing in you to feel nothing for this person.

MJ you can now rest in Peace. You gave the world your all and then some you will be sorely missed by Millions the world over. And for all you who have nothing better than to say stupid BS about him SHUT THE HELL UP. Their will be no one else like him he was and always will be THE KING OF POP. He never did anything wrong to anyone but when you have fame and money their is always someone out there who wants what you have. So long MJ I will miss you and your music.

God bless Michael Jackson and his family. He was a musical genius and his music will live forever. No comparison. It’s so sad when people say negative stuff about a person and believe it before they know the truth! Nobody on this planet has the right to judge another person, only God can do that and your time will come. God gave him a special talent and he used it to the best of his ability.
He sacrificed so much and brought joy to the world over. The good always out weighs the bad and I’ve seen nothing but love for him which he deserves. May he rest in peace and peace to his family. Amen.

I was never one of Michael Jackson’s eally strong fans, but based on what I’ve seen over the last few days one really has to respect his accomplishments and I can only pray for his family. It’s not up to me to judge him.

Yikes! Most of you folks need to pump your brakes a moment. This article is about the young lady who led We Are The World. She was fantastic! I searched for hours to find out who she was. Her voice is strong and beautiful. Most artists can’t sing AT ALL nowadays. I welcome her fresh face and intoxicating voice.

Judith Hill’s performance echoes the excellence in craft that Michael Jackson is beloved for. I feel MJ’s spirit breathe thru Ms. Hill’s rendition of a Heal the World.

I think everyone should leave the Jackson family alone. Let them grieve. Let this man rest in peace. I was never really a Michael Jackson fan. But I cried for him. I cried because of all the goods he did for this world. I cried because he was accused of thing he didn’t do. I cried because he was a caring, loving, and generous man, son, father, and brother. It’s not right talk about who should get the kids. who’s the father. It DOES NOT matter. Michael Jackson WAS their father. The Jackson family is the kids’ family. The kids have years of memories with them and no one should take that away. God bless the Jackson family.

Michael J. Jackson was a leader who gave all he could and didn’t ask for much in return… Just like Jesus he gave of himself selflessly and continued until he could give no more…Ask yourselves the question? How did I treat him as he journeyed along the way did I help or criticize…Did I uplift or reject…Could you pass the test? That we subjected him to…I think not. When Jesus returns, you all will have to give an account of how you treated His Servants…All of them who gave tirelessly, just because it was the right thing to do…What are you gonna do next continue to lie about the drugs/molestation they were all lies and it will be uncovered step by step by the Almighty God…Sooner than you think…Watch God Move on you liers/backstabbers/fornicators/Un-Christian like People…Line up For this is not right to continue to humiliate someone that only wanted to do God’s Will…The Bible says, You reap what you Sow…It’s time for your Big Pay Day…Ms. Carolyn Marie M, Lilesville, North Carolina…
