11-year-old student journalist Damon Weaver finally got his wish Thursday. The Fla. student sat down for an interview with President Barack Obama.
ABC News first met Damon back on election night, when he told us he was determined to meet the president. Seven months later, he was ready for his big moment with a concern at the top of the list for grade school students, about whether the president could improve school lunches.
"Well, we are seeing if we can work to at least make school lunches healthier," Obama replied.
