President and Mrs. Obama will travel to Copenhagen this week — along with talk show host Oprah Winfrey — to make a final pitch for the 2016 Olympics in their hometown of Chicago.
The move is a first for an American president — one with an already busy agenda — but follows British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who made the case for London before the city was named host of the 2012 games. The most recent poll shows residents of the windy city are split on playing host — which can come at a heavy expense and with security threats. So tonight, we ask: Should President Obama be making this trip? And do you want to see the 2016 games in Chicago? Tell us what you think.
