You don't have to be a New York Giants fan to know the tale of Plaxio Burress.  The talented wide receiver was sentenced today to two years in prison after being convicted of carrying a loaded weapon without a license.  The player was in a nightclub when the gun, stuffed in his waistband, dropped and fired.  Burress was the only person wounded.  He went on to strike a deal for a lesser charge and while he was sentenced today to 2 years he will likely be out on parole in 20 months.

The Giants released Burress but in a recent interview he said he will try to make a comeback.  Is his punishment fair?
