I decided to vote for the conservative prior to her announcement.
No way was I going to vote for a MODERATE republican who for all practical purposes could of ran as a democrat.

Palin drew crowds that almost matched obama’s when she had only campaigned for 2 months and he was on the campaign trail for 3 years, yes I do. This is also despite the fact that the media villified her while worshipping BO.
Palin also out-debated a sitting senator of 35 years that was viewed by 70 million people when she had only been a gov for 2 years. Pretty impressive.
Also, according to Rasmussen polling today, BO’s #’s have dropped faster then any other presidents in 50 years. That’s not so impressive.

Money does not grow on trees and the only thing that the Constitution guarantees you is the ‘right to PURSUE happiness’ not an entitlement.
Man, if you could con people into giving you your money, get a dribbling back, and keep a lot of it to build your business then you might be very successful – of course at other people’s expenses. Con? Convict? Congress? How similar!

What percentage of Americans are actually card carrying members of either party? Just because “registered” American voters had voted one of the candidates in does not mean that the majority of Americans are affiliated with the winning party. If a candidate runs for office, has their head on straight, remembers their oath to protect the constitution, and enforces the laws fairly then I’ll vote for them. I’m not one of those euphoric groupies that follows a pied piper.

Palin’s strategy to move the Republician party farther to the right won’t work. Just as Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson can’t move the vast majority of Democrates to the far left. She is limited intellectually but, we all watch and listen because she is beautiful and the media loves pretty people and train wrecks…Which in this case is one in the same! For all you Bubba’s out there, she won’t win any election outside of relocating herself and her family down to South Carolina…AND if the GOP party starts to head the way of her and Rush, the whole mess will appeal more and more to a very targeted deep South core… Whenever anyone talks about us verses them…instead of how all can work together…You know, bringing the vast middle core of common sense Americans together…You lose…

Palin, the journalism major who never read a major newspaper and who took six years to graduate from 5 different schools. Palin, the governor from Alaska who didn’t know about the Supreme Court Case of Exxon vs. Valdez. Wink, wink, by gosh, darn it. Palin, whose radical husband belonged to a secessionist group who wanted to secede from the Union, the same Union that purchased Alaska in the first place from Russia and the same Union under a great Republican President named Abraham Lincoln that fought our bloodiest war to prevent southern states from seceding from the United States. What has happen to the common sense moderates in the Republican Party? We actually need honest to goodness fiscal conservatives in our government, but the neocons in charge of the R Party now are hopeless reactionaries and not fiscal conservatives when it comes to handing out billions to their richest friends. Bring back Teddy Roosevelt, the first president to ask for real health reform and Dwight Eisenhower, who would tax the greedy b_______ from Goldmann Sachs at 91%.

Not quite. The legislative Troopergate investigation found Sarah Palin guilty of an ethics violation. Hours after the report was released, Palin responded with a blatant lie. “Well, I’m very, very pleased to be cleared of any legal wrongdoing, any hint of any kind of unethical activity there,” she told reporters.
Palin was cleared in a separate Alaska State Personnel Board investigation of the Troopergate fiasco. Keep in mind however that the governor’s office appointed the Personnel Board members, and Palin herself had the power to fire them.
In another ethics complaint, the case was resolved by virtue of a “settlement agreement” rather than being cleared. Palin agreed to repay nearly $10,000 in taxpayer money that had been used to cover trips for her children. Her spokesman said she was also committed to repaying any back taxes involved. Then too is the issue of back taxes due on more than $17,000 of improper per diem payments that she hadn’t reported as income.
And your claim about Chicago thugs is garbage. Of eighteen complaints, all but two were filed by Alaskan residents or Alaskan groups. Of the two non-Alaskan complainants, one was a Washington D.C. group and the other remains unknown because the complaint was filed under a fictitious name.

You Palin haters have forgotten that Obama doesn’t even know how many states there are in the union! He thinks there are 57! He also said that AARP had endorsed his health care plan when in fact they had not. He also can’t give a speech without a teleprompter! If he has to give a speech without a teleprompter he just stands there and stares with his mouth open! He obviously doesn’t pre-read his speeches and has no idea what is in them until he takes the platform to give them and then just reads them from the teleprompter. Sarah at least knows what is in her speeches before she gives them and doesn’t just stand there like a deer caught in headlights!

JimVgirl, You are mistaken. I voted for Obama, but I still respected McCain. He served his country with valor and strength. His own people couldn’t stand Palin because they saw what a Moron she was. Believe me McCain’s age had nothing to do with his loss, it was just a distraction. Just as Obama had his distractions, like Avers etc. McCain had a fighting chance against Obama, he is a great Senator who really cares for this country. However, when his move to pick Sarah backfired on him, he lost. People will tell you they didn’t’ vote for McCain because of the possibility of Palin as president. She can’t take the heat when the going gets tough. You don’t see Obama quiting because it’s too hard to be President. Look at all the crap he has to take, yet he stays focused. Let her make her money, this is American after all. Obama wrote his book and won a Grammy, my guess she won’t win squat. If Sarah needs money she has a right to earn it, even if her book is utter nonsense. But she will never win an election and that is the most important thing to a Politician. I love how Democrats try using reverse psychology on the topic of Sarah Palin. “She’s a gift to the Democrats…I hope she sticks around…I hope she keeps talking.” The fact is that you liberal realize that her ideals resonate with great numbers of the American people. PLEASE COME BACK SARAH! Do for the GOP what you did in the last election. I’m praying that she appears at every GOP Rally in 2010. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE SARAH Make your presence loud and clear. If she and those that follow her don’t think we aren’t smart enough to understand those “code” words of “Us” and “Them” “THEY” should think again. I challenge any of “US” to go to a gun show wearing your boots, wranglers, confederate belt buckle and a Sarah Palin 2012 button and see who will come to you with their supremacy literature and posters with bulleyes on them with some of our country’s current highest elected official’s pictures on them. Then you will see who the true supporters of Sarah Palin are. She’s pushing for the “Birth of A New Nation.” That may actually be her underground campaign slogan in 2012
