‘Fists Fly’ In Washington Post Newsroom

My initial reaction was that Gene Robinson and E.J. Dionee finally had enough of Krauthammer, Gerson, and Kristol. But alas, just a couple of silly fashionistas.

“The Style” section of the Washington Post, regardless of the subject, uses the English language in a rather special way–heightend, semi-poetical, given to unusual similes and metaphors. It had not occurred to me that it would spill over into something else.
