Need a Sarah Palin Fix?
The book comes out on Tuesday but the Associated Press has a copy now. Sarah Palin “Going Rogue” is her take on the campaign, on the media, on her family, on it all.
Here are some excerpts from the Associated Press:
On the Campaign:
“Confirming that there was substantial tension between her advisers and McCain's, Palin bitterly details how she was prevented from delivering a concession speech on election night, how she'd been kept "bottled up" from reporters during the campaign and prevented in many ways from just being herself. She also contends she was prepped to give non-answers during her debate with Joe Biden.”
On the Media:
“She writes that she was shocked Couric had asked her which newspapers and magazines she read; given what she called Couric's lack of knowledge about energy issues, Palin wondered whether she should have asked the news anchor what she read.”
On Election Night:
“Palin laments that she wasn't allowed to bring up loads of family members to the stage while McCain gave his election night concession speech, having found out minutes earlier that she wouldn't be permitted to give her own speech.”

The title of Sarah Palin’s book says it all, Going Rogue. By definition, a rogue is a cheat, a fraud, a con-artist, a charlatan, a scoundrel, and a liar. And the media seriously want to elect a rogue AKA a liar for president.
The word “fix”is an interesting one. Back when I was a teenager a “fix” meant a dose of heroin, opium, cocaine, or some other narcotic.
So anyone who gets a “fix” from a rogue entrepreneur, AKA drug dealer like Sarah Palin must be a real “dope.”

Palin wondered whether she should have asked the news anchor what she read.”
Too bad she did not do that. Now that would have been rogue and effective.

Yay for Sarah!
As long as Palin is the morally and intellectually bankrupt, religious extremist, lunatic fringe, dishonest, idiotic Face of the Republican Party, America is safe.
She is a female George Bush and that must strike terror into the hearts of sane Americans.

Hey Doppelganger I think you may be playing with your Dollywagger too much because it’s now effecting your brain function not just your eyesight anymore.

Noz…….speaking from first-hand experience? It’s called psychological projection. Says more about you and your fantasies than about me. God loves you.

I don’t know about that Doppe, my fantasies have more to do with the hope of an intelligent open minded electorate.
Obviously you are not included in that subset of humanity evidenced by what you first posted.

Sarah was SHOCKED Couric WHAT DO YOU READ? She couldn’t shake herself from the dismay to answer a perfectly benign question? How about just thinking about WHAT YOU READ?
Yep, PREZNITDENTIAL material, that Palin is, alright!!!

…and SINCE WHEN is going ROGUE a good thing?
Sarah doesn’t read the dictionary either.
Sarah Palin/Fabio 2012!

Couric’s question was stupid. It was intended to show bias depending on whatever Palin’s answer was….and no other Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate has ever been asked such a stupid question.
I love how the middle of the day (lunch hour here) folks who come on and write things about Palin that are cruel and just downright childish appear to be the ones who aren’t out working.
I then notice how the discourse changes once all the conservatives get home from work and come on.

John McCain wanted to “run” for president, not “be” the president. That became abundantly clear when he picked Sarah Palin as a running mate. Her presence on the ticket insured his defeat. The excerpts from her book show how childish and immature she is. “Rogue” will end up to be an appropriate title.

Many of you are misinformed. Rogue has several connotations in the dictionary. I’m pretty sure the explanation of her meaning is the “Variation of the standard”. I haven’t read the book yet, have you? Oh right, you guys don’t know how to read do you? She is not the normal politician. She is honest, and forthright and transparent in her arguments. But this is why she will never get elected. She is too honest. You all prefer to elect money hungry liars into office.

Kudos Sharon.
Hey, I’m undecided about Palin but she does have some things going for her.
She’s not a lawyer.
She didn’t graduate from Yale or Harvard.
She’s a successful self made woman.
I’m interested to learn more about her.
I’m not interested in reading regurgitated leftist brain dead spin.

Poor Sarah! She has her name on the cover of a book but certainly didn’t write it all by herself. I am sure even a cheap computer with spell-check would kick out massacres of the English such as heckova, windin’, seeun, thinkin’, etc. You can betcha on that. My Websters defines “rogue” as a thieving, wandering beggar or tramp; a cheating fraud. Well, okay, I don’t think it fits 100%, but I didn’t select the title. Perhaps the few dozen copies that sell will define her actions in a more mundane way. She’s peeved because the Republicans wouldn’t allow her to speak more . . . Good Grief!

C’mon guys. Enuff name calling thanks to our puppet masters. So who wants to spend the afternoon in the closet with Sarah? with Hillary? door1 or door2

Gotta love how her faithful followers always tout the honesty of Palin the pathological prevaricator and per diem pilferer.

Steve..”Couric’s question was stupid. It was intended to show bias depending on whatever Palin’s answer was…”
Couric’s question was not stupid. I for one am interested in what the answer might have been. Palin’s answer could have shown her character (the Bible, etc.) or her love of her children (“Where the Wild Things Are”, etc.), or an interest in politics or humor. If she read a dictionary, she would have known what “rogue” means. Instead, her answer showed her to be unprepared or dis-interested. She has no one to blame but herself. And yet, she blames ANYONE else.

No,SHARON, we don’t know how to read hence the written banter here.
You may not like WHAT you are reading, and as clever as the remark was, putting sentences together and answering eachother proves we CAN all read….but keep trying, you’ll be able to take a swipe that makes sense if you put on your thinking cap and just keep plugging.
Nope, Palin is NOT a “normal” politician, in fact she holds no office at all. Her podium is FB, she can’t hold it together long enough to get a website of HER OWN up and running.
No one accused her of being NORMAL, as far as I know.

OH Steve, You are lucky you have a job these days. How dare you put down the ones who don’t. However, I travel around the world and make 2 mil a day on my laptop and can write during the day aby damn time I please. There is an “off” button, use it.

I watched the Oprah clip. She’s a year older, a little more matronly, has a slight droop in the jaw line, and a horrible hairdo-Ms. Sarah’s window of minining the right-wing minority window will eventually close. A winking, “you betcha” Granny Palin will not be so marketable to millions of repressed Repub men. Actually, I think she knows that. This is the “Get the Money and Run Book Tour”.

Good for Palin. She detests the complicit leftist media, like ABC, who spent much more time decrying her “$100,000 wardrobe” than they did investigating who socialist, anti-American, marxist candidate obama really was.

I think people underestimate the intelligence of Americans. When Sarah Palin appeared on the scene during the 2008 elections, the majority of real Americans had just enough sense of self survival to go out and vote for Obama.
Please allow Sarah to run for President in 2012, it will be the saving of the Obama Presidency.

“Please allow Sarah to run for President in 2012, it will be the saving of the Obama Presidency.” – tensai13
Oh please tensai13, how childish
What will save NoBo’s presidency is if he can get his rear end out of these constant meetings and summits and make some right decisions that actually work to strengthen our republic, preserve our constitution and increase our quality of living.
Another election between two losers is not going to do us any good.

She should have asked Couric a question? Gee, Sarah, who was running for office? And speaking of lack of knowledge, I guess Palin is steamed that Couric called her on Palin’s expression of disgust with Supreme Court rulings and asked Palin what Supreme Court decisions – besides the one they discussed – Palin disagreed with. Palin couldn’t name a single one. That interview occurred hours after she told McCain’s people she couldn’t be bothered to be prepped for the interview.

If you think this book is good you should check out “Going Rouge”. It has full listings of all the errors and contradictions she has spewed over the last year. I can’t believe she didn’t know her daughter wasn’t having sex? She was passed puberty and no one talked to her. Now she’s a single mom. Sarah is against sex education, gays, and condoms? What a hipocrit.

“I can’t believe she didn’t know her daughter wasn’t having sex? ” – Chris
.
I doubt your mom or dad knew when you started having sex.
Most parents don’t know when their kids get active, teenagers keep it to themselves. Also I just saw this NewsFlash™ so I thought I’d share it with ya.
Sex Education doesn’t get kids started or stop kids from having sex. Hormones and Brains are responsible for that.
Posted by: Noz | November 16, 2009, 11:40 am 11:40 am
Your right about sex education dosen’t get teens started or stopping them from having sex, but it teaches them to do it in a responsible fashion. If I would have had sex educatiion I would have acted in a more responsible fashion.
I’m sure my parents knew I was up to some sexual activities but like many parnets of past eras they didn’t know how to approach the subject or what to do. Sex education for todays teens means at least when they become parents they will have a better understanding of what to do when their children reach that age. You can’t hope it goes away or pray your teens won’t sneek away with someone they think they are going to love forever and accidentley make a baby.
Sara Palin knew her daughter was dating and knew she was pubescent. She did nothing. Now she takes care of her teen mother’s daughter. At least in this case it looks like the child will be well cared forbut for thousands of other children families can’t cope with another mouth to feed and teen parents are to irespossible and in expeianced in life to make proper parents leaving the child to be raised at a disadvantage to children who where planned pregnancies.
