Rihanna Speaks Out in an Exclusive Interview Airing on “20/20” Friday, November 6

Plus: Did Two Men Con a Wealthy Elderly Woman into Changing Her Will, Disinheriting Her Only Daughter? John Quinones Reports

In an exclusive interview, music superstar Rihanna sits down with Diane Sawyer revealing publicly for the first time what happened last February with singer and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. The incident resulted in the couple’s seemingly fairytale relationship being shattered and Brown being sentenced to community labor, five years of probation and one year of domestic-violence counseling. During the in-depth interview, Rihanna also talks candidly about growing up in Barbados, her family life, and how she has been doing over the last nine months. The interview will air on “20/20,” FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Portions of the interview will also air on “Good Morning America” on Thursday, November 5 and Friday, November 6.

Plus: ABC News takes a rare glimpse of a scene that usually plays itself out behind closed doors. In 2005, 88-year old Mary Ellen Bendtsen signed a new will on camera. With one stroke of a pen, she disinherited her only daughter, Frances Ann, leaving her share of a historic 7000-square foot mansion on swanky Swiss Avenue in Dallas, Texas to two unlikely heirs:  Mark McCay and Justin Burgess, antiques dealers who had befriended her over the years.

John Quinones reports how McCay and Burgess say they were simply Mary Ellen’s allies in her fight against her headstrong daughter’s scheme to sell the house and install Mary Ellen in a nursing home. They say the video is evidence of their attempt to thwart a crime. But Frances Ann claims the video is itself, a crime.  Were the two younger men just being kind or did they pull a cunning con job?

“20/20” is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas. David Sloan is executive producer.
