Are We Looking at a White Christmas this Year?

Accuweather says we may be looking at a white Christmas this year.  So let’s break it down.  Who?  When?  Where?

Key quote from AccuWeather’s Alex Sosnowski:  “A new surge of cold air will press southward later this weekend and lay the groundwork for snow, ice and rain over a large swath of the nation during Christmas week.”

Read AccuWeather’s predictions by clicking here.  But the gist seems to be this:

They predict the storm – bringing with it the chance of snow – will touch Utah, Colorado, northern New Mexico…it will then hit the southern Plains and Mississippi Valley.  The storm will then wind its way north and east hitting Pennsylvania and New England.

I have some 25 weather links I use. One is of the weather fronts coming down from Canada. Another is the Pacific storms headed our way. Another are the temperatures in Siberia. It was -52 in one area the other day.

How wonderful imaginations, I love HomeSense. It’s like a flea market for decorators. We are getting our tree this Sunday. We go to the tree farm in Whit by every year and cut one down. I think the tree will look lovely next to the fire place. You’ll get to admire it more.
