Obama & Better News on Jobs
There has been much critique of the President over his priorities. Jobs, the argument has gone, should be number one for President Obama and they simply have not been. That is part of a bigger debate. But it is clear this morning’s job’s report is welcome news for the nation and for the President.
The news today is that America lost 11,000 jobs in November. That is far fewer than had been predicted and the least number of jobs lost during any month since 2007. The report brought the nation’s unemployment rate down from 10.2% to 10%.
This morning President Obama, speaking in Allentown, Pennsylvania, made it clear he feels much work remains. “Good trends don’t pay the rent,” he remarked.

Stimulus package, as a wooden bridge, has need to be upgraded by virtue of the much-sought reinforced countermeasures, namely, health care & sustainable power source act.
What with world-wide surplus population out of reach, and high oil, health care quotes & painful war waste, the backbone of middle class has been torn down, coupled with this great recession as a prelude to potential great depression to be otherwise followed by neglect to act on both imperatives.
To uphold the sobering overpopulation, using up the tremendous natural and economic resources, the unsustainable transition from the personal purse to the intergovernmental stimulus packages is happening now. Thereby, there is a pressing need to replace the wooden bridge with a steel one shortly.
At this stage, the fate of America is considered to lies in the direction of money, so to speak, war or job. And the further tax load that wouldn’t be conducive to the working middle class needs to be withdrawn.
Some hopeful signs don’t justify comeback to business as usual marked by greed and corruptions all across the board.
History tells us that war bears corruptions, which ends up destroying the society, and it indicates that an inside enemy is the most treacherous.
I’d have to say : One more mistake for gambling on a sunset industry,an oil base, is to another great depression what Iraq war in sight is to this great recession.
Thanks a lot !

I refuse to watch ABC News as long as Jacob Tapper is the White House Correspondent. I’ve listened to his anti-Obama rhetoric for months hoping it would stop. The last straw was Thursday night after the President responded to cynicism on the jobs picture (with unemployment going down from 10.% to 10 %)when the President stated “If I paid attention to the cynics I wouldn’t have been elected.” Right after this statement Mr. Tapper stated “Tell this to the (fill in the blank)million unemployed.” That statement was pure editorial comment. I’m a white southern male (68 years old) but I don’t appreciate our President (any color or political party) being disrespected. It sounds to be like Mr. Tapper should be working for Fox News, not ABC.

If the administration wants to create jobs just put some of the stimulus money into small business the banks have made it very hard for small businesses to get the money they need to hire more people to increase production this money would create jobs now!

Has anybody thought, for a moment, that this November increase in jobs, is due only to seasonal Christmas shopping season temporary jobs, that will terminate abruptly in January?
Come on folks!
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out this one!!!

Stop letting jobs go overseas. Companies who send most jobs overseas should not be allowed to incorporate in the US. Less H-1B visas. Buy American! No more hemorraghing of US citizen’s livelyhood unless we want extreme poverty and reduction in living standards in this country.

Anyone with half a brain knows tax relief and making credit available as well as assuring business they will not be hit with new costs ie. health care, cap and tax. is what is needed to get the economy moving. Obama will not do this because it conflicts with his anti-capitalist agenda. Meanwhile unemployment among young inner city blacks is near 50%, and real unemployment nationally is 17% or better. He lied about fostering bipartsanship, lied about government transparency, lied about what cap and trade will cost, lied about several facets of health care and his alleged concern about jobs is phony. He’s lied about the jobs his stimulus has created. What he says does not match what he does. Much of the public is too dim to see through this.
