Tiger Woods Wins Ban On Nude Photos
We just saw the story on Reuters — that lawyers in Britain have won an injunction for Tiger Woods against the publication of any nude photos, or any videotape of Woods having sex. Which — the lawyers insist — "is not to be taken as an admission that any such photographs exist." Someone here was wondering — isn't that "a pretty expensive Just-In-Case?"
Here's the Reuters report:
Woods wins UK court ban against nude, sex photos
MIAMI (Reuters) – Golfer Tiger Woods, fighting to fend off intense media scrutiny over allegations he cheated on his wife, has won a British court order banning publication in Britain of any photos or video showing him nude or having sex.
British law firm Schillings, which specializes in protecting the reputations of celebrities, obtained the injunction on Woods' behalf Thursday at the High Court in London, partner Simon Smith told Reuters by phone Friday.
A letter from the lawyers accompanying the injunction contains a statement that "this Order is not to be taken as an admission that any such photographs exist."

Ha ha ha ha ha!
I got such a belly laugh out of this!
So we all now know that there’s video and pictures of Tiger in the buff doing his little Tiger dance with some anti-moral fem-fatale.
Regarding the injunction, isn’t that usually served to some entity?
Is Tiger’s Injunction super special and is being served to the entire planet?
How rich all of this is.
I find myself wondering how Tiger got raised so poorly to not know better.
I guess when you focus only on one thing, golf, the rest of life is meaningless.

OMG what next? Nude photos! Holy cow…what kind of kinky guy was he? No wonder he is in hiding…how can he face the world who thought of him as a saint, good father and husband. I know I have no right to judge him but it shows what we see is not always what really is. I truly hope this passes and he gets on with his life but I doubt if his wife will stay even with the extra money he offered. This is the kind of world we simple people cannot relate to until it is in our faces. I really liked him…too bad.

I would laugh if it was not so sad for
his family what kind of bimbos he picked
up. The one (?) that was on the “Today”
show felt bad when she found out there
were other women. This coming from a person who is with a married man. Good
grief, its unbelievable.

“this Order is not to be taken as an admission that any such photographs exist.” Yeah, right. Now we know that not only is Tiger a low down, lying, cheating dog, but there are pictures! I guess he never got the advice to never take a picture of yourself that you would be embarrassed to see on the front page of the Washington Post. Was this guy standing behind the door when they were handing out good sense?

is this why the Brits might be revisiting their liable law? There was just news that they are getting sick of foreigners using thier strict liable laws to censor, punish, or go after journalists, authors, etc and might rewrite the laws. Guess Woods got in before any changes happen!

This is going to make one hell of a movie. The casting call has already gone out. My vote is for Denzel Washington to play Tiger Woods.

What a ridiculous injunction! They are going to surface sooner or later.
It’s so disrespectful towards his wife and family. If you don’t want to be married, then do something about it before you play the field.
You can be disrespectful and grandiose, but you can’t be stupid at the same time and get away with it.

This is obviously damage control, and there is obviously something out there.

Nah, Jim I kinda like Denzel.
How about O.J. Simpson?
He wouldn’t have to act much to portray a Jerk.
Hey!, and his salary could be garnered and given to the Brown family so that some good could come out of it.

LEAVE THE GUY ALONE ALREADY. SO HE HAD TRANSGRESSIONS. THAT’S TOO BAD FOR HIS FAMILY. THE MEDIA IS HAVING A FIELD DAY LIKE THEY AlWAYS DO. ENOUGH ALREADY. THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT. I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR HIM. BUT LET HIM CONTEMPLATE WHAT HE HAS DONE AND LET HIM GET THE HELP HE NEEDS. EVERYBODY SHOULD MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS. WHY DON’T YOU GUYS LOOK INTO YOUR CLOSETS, I WONDER WHAT SKELETONS WE CAN COME UP WITH!

It all comes down to poor choices, bad judgment and a lack of moral fortitude. Still, when will celebrities figure out it’s not a good idea to have cameras in a room if they’re engaged in illicit behaviour?

Tiger is not above the celebrity gossip. He thinks because he is a billionair, he can hide in his house while his career and life goes down the drain. His main goal besides golf was finding “love in the women’s cave” as the saying goes and had no regard for his fans, his self respect and his family. To forgive him, is a sure sign that people only care about his celebrity. A real man would have come out of his house, talked to the media and quell rumours of his indisgressions, admit to his actions and apologize to the public, his family and to his fans and the world of gulf. This should teach everyone that he is only a man and that celebrities should not be regarded as Gods. Even if his wife Elin did know what was going on, she is embarassed and I feel sorry for her and her children who are innocent children. This will all come back to haunt them all. Tiger, you are a digrace.

Lawyers think the rest of us are a bunch of idiots. This order does not imply the photos exist. Sure…

He runs into a fire hydrant and these stories start popping up crazy.
It’s almost like someone had a bunch of things on Tiger and was just waiting for the opportune time to dazzle us with 11 “other” women – and now nude photos!

asusual, the answer is DNA.
The difference is that some of us have functioning grey masses and others are just blobs of chemical reactions wandering around the planet.
Now a question for you.
What category does Tigerita fall into?

British satire can be savage but its libel laws are stricter than those in the United States.

I have received a confirmed report from a very reliable source that Tiger Woods has just placed an order for a new ARMORED Cadillac Escalade from International Armoring Corporation in Utah, I work for the company that takes care of the shipping of the vehicles around the world for this armored car company. I guess that he is in fear of the fall out of the latest cheating issues.

Did it ever occur to anybody that maybe The Tiger was being blackmailed by pictures or tapes made secretly? Don’t assume he willingly allowed himself to be photographed or video’d voluntarily.

In today’s world people love nothing more than to kick another when they are down. Sad commentary. The media keeps making this our business when it’s absolutely nobody’s business at all! Leave the guy and his family alone!!!

Tiger Woods will be back stronger and bigger than ever. Temptations will always be there and women will throw themselves to a celebrity like him. NO ONE IS PERFECT!!! NIKE is doing the right thing not to gove him up because he will be back

Parents everywhere need to take advantage of this teachable moment right away!
I am already telling my kids that Tiger is an ###### and not to grow up to be like him.
It’s time ladies and gentlemen to look for a better role model. Someone who’s at least a little decent.
In the meantime take advantage of this opportunity provided us by Mr. Woods.
