What Happens When A Party Crasher Denies Crashing the Party?

Just when you thought it could not get any stranger.  The couple who party crashed the White House State Dinner says…they didn’t crash the party. This morning on NBC, Tareq and Michaele Salahi said the fallout from their attendance at the White House event has been “devastating” to them.  They said there are more details yet to come out that the couple says will prove that they are not party crashers.  "We're greatly saddened by all the circumstances … portraying my wife and I as party crashers. I can tell you we did not party-crash the White House."  That’s not how the White House and the Secret Service see it.  Plain and simple – they were not invited.  It’s unclear what evidence the couple is now referring to.  What has been clear throughout this entire ordeal is that Michaele Salahi has been hoping to land a role in the upcoming Bravo reality show.  Feels like we are already watching that reality show.

I don’t know print them a fake invite. This whole thing is hilarious in hindsight.

This woman is a narcisist. It is disgusting and deeply saddens me the way she attracts attention to herself. If this is her 15 min it is pathedic.

It’s such a reflection of our culture that we are actually giving this couple air time and media attention. They are obviously much smarter than we think. Not only did they get into the White House…but they are getting all the attention they originally wanted! On top of that, they will probably make money on their story. It’s actually brilliant. With the recession, it’s not a bad way to make a few bucks!! This attention is like rewarding a small child for bad behavior.

These two are pathetic. You’d think they would help the POTUS and FLOTUS save some face admit that they were in the wrong and shut up. I hope they go to jail for this.
SS at least admitted mistake. East Wing needs to do the same. Two members of Desiree’s staff were notifed by Roxanne Roberts at 735 of guests not on list at event. They chose to do nothing with that information. Rogers by the way should have been working the event, not attending it! Cronyism apparently is not merely for Bush White House.

I bet Rahm is not happy. Hide the steak knives.
That couple did them a favor.
The security protocol needs to change, obviously.
Who’s checking the checkers?

“What Happens When A Party Crasher Denies Crashing the Party?” – ABC News
Let’s see,
The world stops turning?
The Earth’s magnetic field reverses?
Bears stop using fluffy furry bunnies to wipe themselves after their daily constitutional?
The electorate grows a brain?
The overall global temperature falls by one degree Celsius?
Some talk show host named Dave scores again?
The sun rises in the West?
I don’t really know the answer but if I had to venture a guess it would be “nothing”.
Then again, this thread here is already more than nothing so all hope is dashed to the ground.
Rats!

When you are trying to become “reality TV stars”, it doesn’t matter what is being said, just that you are being talked about.

I think the comments about her being narcissistic and working the event are the most appropriate. In retrospect it’s quite possible that she was probably invited… To wear a cocktail serving girl’s dress and TO SERVE the White House Support staff after the event and during the clean up. Just as I am sure that he was invited “To Clean up the stables of the Mounted Police Officers who where on duty that night. I suppose it’s easy to these different types of invites confused. No matter she and her husband are masters of BS and spin. To them class is measured by “who you are seen with” as opposed to how you carry yourself as a person.

If these people were an actual threat, you would have heard nothing about it. A true threat would have never exposed himself by playing the publicity card. I think they should be thanked for exposing “security” to be a house of cards. This couple was invited in by not being turned away. It may be embarrassing, but not illegal. How many times has this happened with others, and never been detected? We’ll never know, and the Secret Service won’t dare say. Maybe the powers that be are using this to scare away any real potential security threats that are looming. Who knows…the Secret Service is either sloppy or brilliant. That’s why it’s “Secret”.

You can tell they are lying, of course they crashed the Party OR they would have stayed for the MAIN COURSE…course they got what they wanted which is the publicity…which makes them disgusting…Destroyed their lives OH PULEEEZE…what lives is what I’d like to know…besides an opportunistic one!

Why does anyone have an opinion about these people at all? So they crashed a party, big deal? I’m sure thousands of people have crashed whitehouse and other important famous parties in our nation’s history, but we have never made them the center of a media blitz – if you have opportunity, why not try to crash a party? More power to ‘em.
