It’s been a pretty heavy two weeks, between steady coverage of the earthquake devastation in Haiti, Scott Brown’s Republican stunner in Massachusetts, George Stephanopoulos interviewing President Obama, and a pair of impactful Brian Ross investigations (Trijicon and Toyota). Tonight, barring breaking news, we’ll strike a bit of a different tone, with a report about the mysterious circumstances surrounding the disappearance of 8-month-old Gabriel Johnson in Arizona; Juju Chang’s interview with reality star Heidi Montag, who defends her obsession with plastic surgery (10 procedures in 10 hours); and a note about the Haiti telethon. We’ll also have a Sign of the Times about another obsession – the MTV hit show Jersey Shore. Despite its critics, nearly 5 million viewers tuned in last night to watch the finale.
