Bashir, ICP Lock Horns in ‘Moment of Zen’
Any "Daily Show" fan knows the day needs "Your Moment of Zen." And while we were not surprised by the overwhelming response to Martin Bashir's interview with the Insane Clown Posse, it is an impressive achievement for a moment in that conversation to transport us to that Jon Stewart Zen-like place. Embedded below is the 13-second segment, which aired in Wednesday's "Daily Show" episode. In it, Bashir asks about where Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope get their inspiration for a lyric like "From Plut to your anus/We're underground famous." Of note, it is not the first time Bashir has earned the billing from the comedian, pictured above collecting an Emmy Award. Almost exactly a year ago, he received the same treatment, in a clip you can see HERE. Enjoy. …guess they told him (Bashir)in that video. They left him no way to manipulate them.
Unlike Michael Jackson who welcomed this conniving reporter into his world. This person, M Bashir really has no business reporting at all having distorted the meaning of free press for financial gain in support of perverse sensationalism.
To this day I wonder who backed
M Bashir in editing the Michael Jackson tapes, in addition to ABC itself. It will be interesting to see what comes 1rst; the truth for his incentive to distort the interview, humility on the part of ABC (for MB obviously doesn’t have any), his steeping down or being ousted.
