On Friday, we asked whether President Obama had the votes. Last night, that question was answered in the House – narrowly and under protest. Out of the historic debate came a historic piece of health care legislation — one President Obama will sign into law tomorrow. Republicans are still fighting, already campaigning to repeal the about-to-exist law. It is an issue that will color the 2010 mid-term races, and perhaps the next presidential election. Likely Republican candidate Mitt Romney came out swinging today. So tonight, we ask: Will Democrats pay a political price for the health care win? Or are Republicans the ones overplaying their hand? Tell us what you think. ——————– UPDATE: Embedded below is Terry Moran’s segment from last night, “Yes, He Can,” which includes portions of the Diane Sawyer interview with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and probes this very question.
