Last night, we had a full report about the nine members of the so-called "Hutaree"– an extreme Christian militia in Michigan — indicted for allegedly plotting a violent attack on law enforcement. Tonight, you met members of North Idaho's Lightfoot Militia, one of many well-armed and organized militia groups at work across the country. They disavow any unnecessary violence against the government. In fact, they say they're training to help. The Constitution, of course, protects not only your right to bear arms, but also to form a "well-regulated" militia. So tonight, we ask: Are militias in America too unregulated? Or is their activity constitutional? Tell us what you think. Will embed tonight's segment in the morning.
